Kuti Martinez is a Spanish visual artist and photographer born in Madrid. She fascinates the eye with the little "nothing" that shapes the beauty of our reality... 

For Kuti, photography is an artistic expression of her discoveries and encounters. It's an expression "worth spending time exploring, creating, working with raw materials to reveal their beauty". The artistic work thus becomes a wonderful revelation of what has been photographed, the process of making the prints being as important to her as the shooting. Experimentation with alternative processes, forms and textures are all priorities. Having lived in Madrid, Havana and Miami, she now resides in the south of France.

Palmiers is a limited edition of 12 prints representing the beauty of simple forms. "I print on different types of very subtle and delicate Japanese paper and present this series with oak frames made by myself. This series is presented in both small and large format."
